Around the world, Bahá’ís and others interested in bettering their communities are working together to provide uplifting activities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Virtues Classes for Children

Children’s classes are available for children up to 11 years old and assist children in developing virtues such as honesty, patience, and generosity and learning to apply these qualities to their lives. The classes, which are based on a curriculum that is being used in communities around the world, include music, games, stories, memorization, and art.

Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program

The ages of 11-14 are a time of transition—physically, mentally, and socially—in the lives of young people. The junior youth spiritual empowerment program celebrates the potential of this age group and helps them become learn to recognize and navigate the constructive and destructive forces at play in society, and guides their energies toward service to their communities.

Study Circles for Adults

For ages 15 and up, study circles allow an opportunity to develop the skills needed to grow spiritually, engage in service to others, and strengthen our communities. Starting with a foundation of recognizing ourselves as spiritual beings, courses are available to prepare participants to lead any of the activities discussed on this page. The learning style in these groups is participatory in nature, encouraging those involved to take ownership of their own learning.

Devotional Gatherings for All

People of all ages are welcome to come together in prayer. Through devotional gatherings, our spirits are elevated, and we strengthen bonds of friendship with others. Devotional gatherings typically include the reading of prayers and quotations, and often music. All are welcome.
