To celebrate Ayyám-i-Há, the Decatur Community hosted a festive party at the Decatur Recreation Center. It was a joy to celebrate together with many old and new friends, including many we have met through Meaningful Conversations. We played games, made Ayyám-i-Há cards, and enjoyed tasty treats and rich conversations.
At the party, linens and other items were collected to donate to our friends and neighbors served by Decatur Cooperative Ministry. Donations were estimated to value $700. We have had a linen drive during Ayyám-i-Há for many years now and it was wonderful to commemorate these days outside of time again in this way again this year.
