Twin Holy Days in Decatur: 2025

The Decatur Bahá’í community invites our friends and neighbors to join us for a celebration in honor of the births of the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh, respectively the Forerunner and Founder of the Bahá’í Faith.

The Báb and Bahá’u’lláh were born over 200 years ago in Persia (what is now Iran). According to the lunar calendar, their birthdays were on consecutive days, and Bahá’ís all over the world now celebrate these two days together as the “Twin Holy Days” festival.

In 2025 year, the Twin Holy Days will be officially observed from sunset to sunset on October 21-23. In honor of these coming holy days, the Bahá’ís of Decatur welcome you to stop by the large pavilion at Glenlake Park for an afternoon of community and connection on Sunday, October 19th, from 1-5pm.

This family-friendly event is open to everyone and will include activities for all ages including crafts, games, music, and stories.
