Join us at Steel City Pops for an Ayyám-i-Há celebration!

Please come celebrate Ayyám-i-Há with our community at Steel City Pops on Tuesday, February 26. The purpose of the days of Ayyám-i-Há is to share hospitality, offer acts of service, exchange gifts, and, for adults, prepare spiritually for the Bahá’í month of fasting (March 2-20).

This year, the Bahá’í Community of Decatur has arranged a fundraiser for Hagar’s House as one way to demonstrate the spiritual principle of service for our Ayyam-i-Ha celebrations. Steel City Pops will donate 20% of sales on Tuesday, February 26 from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm to benefit Hagar’s House, a shelter located in Decatur for families who are housing insecure.

The donation will go to Decatur Cooperative Ministries which funds Hagar’s House to provide housing, employment services, meals, and other support. Decatur Cooperative Ministries is a non-profit organization committed to helping families facing homelessness settle into safe, stable homes and build healthy lives filled with peace, hope and opportunity. The Bahá’í Community of Decatur is delighted to support this mission.

All are welcome! We hope you will join us for this fun (and tasty) celebration!
